The good news is that of all the USB Type-C docking stations that we've evaluated, the Targus DOCK410 appears the most compatible and the performance is comparable, if not superior, to other brands.
And even if the receptacle is marked, various hosts and devices are not always compatible. While Type-C enables video, data, and power over a single connection it doesn't mean all the capabilities have been implemented on the host or device. Also there is software that can be downloaded from the Targus website for the tilt wheel as it has some added capabilities that can be set using this software.As previously stated in a blog, not all USB Type-C (aka USB-C) ports are the same. If this still does not happen then let me know. If the drivers are not immediately recognized then restart your computer and the computer should then recognize the mouse. The computer should recognize the drivers for this mouse (if you are using Windows 2000, XP, Vista, or Mac OS X ). Once the batteries are installed then plug the usb stick into any of the usb ports on the computer. Then you should be able to pull up on the battery cover and remove it from the mouse. After you remove the usb stick there might be a button somewhere on the bottom of the mouse that you should be able to press to get the battery cover to pop up. It also appears that the plastic cover behind the two buttons (this cover has targus written on it) Should come off. Under the mouse there should be a usb stick attached to the mouse which most likely should slide out from the mouse.
